Regenerate Shingal promotes transitional justice and regeneration of traditional cultural, agricultural, economic, and communal life by means of holistic restoration in Shingal, humanitarian aid, and legal and historic documentation. teh organization is formed by members of different religions and from different sectors of society in the name of humanity and justice and in light of grave crimes committed against the minority communities in Iraq and especially in Shingal. They believe that the only way to restore the society after decades of conflict is to support those affected most deeply by genocide and discrimination and to increase the appreciation and possibility for diversity that allows or society with its various religions, cultures, natural habitats, and agricultural bases to flourish. In particular, they are working to restore the seriously damaged ecosystem that provides the basis of life in the region, with a focus on water, reforestation, and sustainable farming. Members also rebuild homes, farms, businesses, communities, infrastructures, and sacred spaces that once gave Shingal its identity as a space of inter-religious tolerance and hospitality.
