Sagara Nature Cooperation Circle (CC), Vettikkavala is the first United Religions Initiative unit based out of a government school in Kerala, India. The CC is made up of staff and students of different religions, such as Hindus, Muslims, Christians and Dalits and aims to bridge differences. CC members promote interreligious understanding and are concerned about the protection of Mother Earth. To achieve their purpose, they conduct training programs for students, teachers and community leaders addressing leadership, skill development, nature protection, etc.
