
Sheikh Adam Dhere Charity Association (SADCA) Cooperation Circle (CC) is an NGO that operates as an umbrella for a number of other humanitarian, education, peacebuilding and human development resources NGOS in Somalia. SADCA CC advocates for community cohesion, a common sense of belonging, and a willingness to work for the common good in the local and the wider communities. CC members organize “Golden Rule Day” events and plan trainings for Somali religious scholars and Moalims in order to inform them about how to counter violent extremism. Additionally, SADCA CC believes in tackling the underlying conditions that generate the factors for violent armed conflicts, social inequity, and poverty and deprivation. The achievements of a fair and just society require redistribution of the nation’s wealth, equitable power sharing, and a transparent judicial and political system. SADCA CC members reject the use of force, intimidations, and violence as means of achieving political aims in Somalia. They also reject all forms of corruption in political and public life. It advocates for transparency, accountability, and good governance in public and private spheres.
