Society for Intercultural Research and Friendship (SIRF) Cooperation Circle is an organization involving 4,000 students from different countries and different religions who come to study in Turkey. They organize trips to tourist sites, parties and various gatherings to promote inter-cultural and inter-religious opportunities for students to get to know one another. Each year, they organize two picnics for members, a welcome party at the beginning of the academic year, and a "Graduation Ceremony" at the end of year. Each graduate receives an "Intercultural Friendship Certificate." SIRF arranges scholarships for 40-50 students every year.
