St. Francis Assisi CBSE School is located in a place where different religious groups are living. This makes it important to implant the values of peace, communal harmony, religious understanding and tolerance among families through students and staff. While providing quality education to the rural students under the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the school conducts seminars, competitions, etc., based on multiple religions' values promoting interfaith harmony among communities. During annual celebrations of harvest festivals, national important days, etc., all students and their parents are used to wholeheartedly participating without any discrimination whatsoever. The school will be encouraging the students and staff members to contribute towards opening an interfaith library for learning the values of different religions’ Holy Scriptures, respect for diversity, and social, political, economic and environmental justice-related publications. Members of this school Cooperation Circle will undergo training from URI and the learning from it will be reflected in the promotion of interfaith cooperation to end religiously-motivated violence and to create cultures of peace, justice and healing for the Earth and all living beings.
