Ummahat (Mothers) Development Centre facilitates community-based initiatives that prevent and counter extremism and radicalization through engaging inter-religious communities to proactively harness peace. Members have used their diversity to harness co-existence, especially in preaching use of non-violence approaches like dialogue to resolve conflicts. This was mostly emphasized during the COVID -19 Lockdown in Uganda when violence was going on the rise.
