On January 20, CC Brasilia commemorates the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the day to fight religious intolerance.

The International University of Peace (Unipaz) Federal District held the meeting "Women for The Earth, Women for Peace - Women's Voices for the Healing of the Planet", on March 9. The Gardeners of the Earth Project initiative is a tribute to International Women's Day, celebrated on March 8.

On March 22, the symposium Water: Divine Gift, Human Right, Common Good was held. The goal was to bring light to the issue of water and how the current system deals with this element so basic and necessary for the survival of life on the planet.

URI is a partner of the 10x10 Challenge and the Rede Desarma Brasil.

URI, MOGAUMA and 10x10 Challenge invited religious from different traditions to an important online lecture to talk about “Ethics in the Exponential Advancement of Technologies - The Role of Religions” by GILBERTO LIMA JR.

On Thursday, September 10, 2020, the Regional Coordination of Latin America & the Caribbean invited all the Cooperation Circles of the region to a meeting via zoom to bid farewell to the 2016-2020 management of the Global Trustees: Sofía Painiqueo, member of the Aflaiai CC of Chile, Salette Aquino member of the CC Brasilia of Brazil and David Limo member of the CC URI Lima of Peru, whose these four years represented all CCs before the Global Council of URI and in turn welcomed the new elected Trustees for the 2020 period -2024: Salette Aquino, CC Brasilia Francisco Morales, CC Comunidad Cósmica and Rosadelia Quizhpe, CC Samay who assume the post to represent the CCs.

URI Brasil participates in a campaign whose objective is to bring food to 40 million Brazilians for three months: CHALLENGE 10x10.

Together with a hundred entities and approximately fifty parliamentarians, on February 18, 2020, URI honored the “25 Years of the Human Rights and Minorities Commission of the Chamber of Deputies” in Brasilia.
