World Interfaith Network maintains a database which lists interfaith and affiliate members in California, North America and globally. By clicking on the groups' website location, the user will be hyperlinked to the other's website to learn about the interfaith activities happening there. World Interfaith Network introduced Interfaith Awareness Week in San Diego, CA in 2017 when they organized NAIN (North American Interfaith Network) “Connect.” It gathered 250 people from 20 faiths for 5 days. It then became a California state holiday in 2018, and members wish that in August 2019 it becomes a global opportunity to celebrate Interfaith. They believe that the more the world listens to the interfaith community, the more peace there will be in this world. They want to do interfaith big, so that interfaith becomes something recognized in social media and calls attention to journalists. They hope Interfaith Awareness week will help them achieve this.
