Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights (PCSW&HR) an active Cooperation Circle (CC) of United Religions Initiatives (URI) in Pakistan  observed the International Day of Peace on 21st September 2014.  Although PCSW&HR organized various activities to observe the peace day but the main activity was peace seminar on “Right of People to Peace” organized by the PCSW&HR on 21^st September 2014 at Sialkot  - Pakistan

It was exciting to see new and young interfaith activists harnessing the URI platform for the good of their communities.

This year, several Cooperation Circles in URI India’s East Zone held International Day of Peace (IDP) celebrations.

On the occasion of UN International Day of Peace, PEACE CC from west zone, India organized Peace celebration event at KES' Shree Mumbadevi Vidya Mandir a leading school from western suburbs of Mumbai having both state level and IGCSE board as part of their curriculum. On the 20^th of September, 2014 a ceremony was held at Peace Center Lahore, Pakistan to celebrate the International Day of Peace with roughly100 guests.

For this year's International Day of Peace (IDP), URI’s Cooperation Circles (CCs) in Sri Lanka held several engaging events throughout the region.

URI Pakistan held its 15th Annual Grand Christmas rejoicing program at the URI Pakistan Peace Center in Lahore in 2013.
