The URI MENA Office, in cooperation with Naya CC, Mercy CC, and Quested Peace CC, organized a recitation of holy texts and prayers session for the International Day of Peace.
Naya CC assembled 14 prayers and verses (ayat) from prevailing religions in Jordan that teach us to live together in peace and harmony.
A deep discussion followed the recitation, discussing how to live and how to promote such holy guidance. This capitalized on the fact that all religions do not condone nor teach violence, but they teach peaceful co-existence, tolerance, love, caring and sharing. We all agreed to promote these teachings in our social circles and to abide by them to be an example in our communities.
