Quested Peace, a URI Middle East and North Africa group, participated in a Vienna-based project aimed at promoting human rights education among young people. The training, which was funded by the European Youth foundation, targeted youth who voluntarily involve themselves in local projects such as work camps, refugee projects, and environmental protection. This event raises awareness about human rights violations. It gave youth the tools to fight hate speech and promote their own human rights projects. Through initiatives like this, URI youth are able to develop and increase their ability to tackle human rights abuses in their communities.
