The Rev. Fr. Chito Suganob, who was taken as a hostage last summer by the Maute-ISIS terror group in Mindanao, the Philippines, spoke about his painful experience to fellow members of Pakigdait, Inc. Cooperation Circle (of which he is now the new chairman of the Board of Trustees).
During his captivity, as the violent struggle between the militant group and the government continued, the global URI community anxiously waited and sent prayers for his safety. He was finally released 117 days after his capture.
