In October 2020, URI welcomed a new Cooperation Circle, or member group, named "1000 Abrahamic Circles." The group is headquartered in Indonesia, one of the world's most ethno-religiously diverse but conflict-prone countries. This group brings the Abrahamic religions (Christianity, Islam, and Judaism) together in an independent and grassroots international interfaith peace effort, encouraging the leaders of each religion to experience the other traditions firsthand and bring about lasting understanding, friendship, and peace.
With the addition of these members from Indonesia, the URI network now includes 1064 Cooperation Circles working in 110 countries!
