Salwan School, a Cooperation Circle in New Delhi, India, launched the Green School Programme in July.  Five teams were organized to evaluate their current use of water, air, land, energy and waste. The purpose of this program is to help students assess their use of resources and map their consumption and wastage.  It enables them to identify the gaps in their current practices. The program will stimulate the growth of a more environmentally aware and responsible generation of citizens. The program began with a ceremony, with the principal planting a sapling in the school grounds.

It gives us immense pleasure to share with all of you that Sadhbhavna CC in North India celebrated world peace day this year. The program was conducted by members of both Sadhbhavna and Sampark.
