URI Europe participated in the First Symposium on Interfaith and Intercultural Dialogue, “Connecting Actions” at Salle Paris at the FIAP. The conference was held to overcome the tendency to stigmatize Muslims, Jews, and immigrants, and how to deconstruct stereotypes.

Kiran Bali MBE JP was presented with the British Community Honours Award in the presence of Lords and dignitaries at the House of Lords.

The United Religions Initiative Europe Assembly brought peacebuilders from around the Europe region together in Damme, Belgium.

In April of 2016, URI chairperson Kiran Bali MBE JP and global faith leaders from around the world signed on to the Interfaith Climate Change Statement 2016. There is much work to still do. 

Two young women from Youth for Peace Cooperation Circle, based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, volunteer to paint the homes of disadvantaged people during Peace Summer School.
