13th January 2016 marked the approval of MIMAMO CC into the United Religions Initiative family. This was soon followed by a period of the memorable event of the family’s World Interfaith Harmony Week.

With World Interfaith Harmony Week at our heels, URI North America is inspired and re-energized by the messages of hope, solidarity, and love shared by Cooperation Circles.

As many Africans countries are under going through elections this year, URI-Africa expressed its delight that the culture of peaceful and democratic elections continues to be deepened across Africa.

URI-Africa & AFSC signed a cooperation agreement to work in partnership to promote a culture of peace, security and inter-religious harmony in Africa.

An international delegation of Jewish Rabbis, Muslim Imams, Christian Priests, Pastors, scholars, professors and peace activists visited Pakistan for a week.

On February 6, 2016, Palki Peace Cooperation Circle held an event where they made large quantities of food to share with the needy.

URI Multi-Region Cooperation Circle Trail of Dreams World Peace Walk and URI North America Cooperation Circle Spirit of Truth Foundation have joined in this initiative "The Red Flame for Freedom.

On Monday, January 25, we celebrated Tu Bishvat, the Jewish holiday also known as the New Year for Trees.
