Every year on September 21, the International Day of Peace is celebrated around the world. The UN General Assembly has declared this date as the day dedicated to strengthening the ideals of peace, through the 24-hour observation of non-violence and a ceasefire.

On Saturday September 26, the members of CC Samay together with Global Trustee Rosa Delia Quizhpe gathered to honor the memory of former Trustee Fany Ávila, who had her birthday on this date.
